Yes that would be easier, I voted, but can't stand going on facebook anymore.

Facebook has more of a broad public opinion than FRF of course every one on FRF wants a 427. just like every one on honda forum wants what ever it is they want a wing who knows. But when he takes it to Ford and Roush face book has a more powerful opinion than FRF ever will.

Yes, but understand that the real interest lies in what Raptor owners want. Therefore FRF has the best audience there is.

Also this will only be an aftermarket option for now. Who knows how it will influence their choices moving forward.

The industry wants to go the other way. We (Raptor Owners) want more.

I wouldn't mind an ecoboost 5.0. The 5.0 4v will be lighter & have a better ceiling that the 6.2 2v, especially if the boss internals are used. I'd like the 7.0 or 5.0 ecoboost. 7.0 ecoboost ftw though. The cost variance between the 5.0 ecoboost & the na 7.0 should be the deciding factor. The 7.0 will cost more I assume since it'll be used in less applications. The 5.0 ecoboost could be utilized for the new mustang platform, therefore it'd probably be the better option for Ford cost wise. 2v modular motors needa been put out of service soon imo, 4v is far superior.

That might not necessarily be true on the weight. When you add the of the turbos, plumbing, and intercooler. Then subtract the weight from boring it out to 7L, the bigger engine might weigh less.

true, but the 5.0 would be easier to fit in a mustang & the turbos can be routed as needed. If the 7.0 L has forged internals then it'll weigh around the same probably, maybe more. The ecoboost will boast better mpg with equivalent or better torque.
