I have a set of BD Squadron Pro chase lights mounted on the lip of my bed, immediately behind my cab.
In looking at these, I can’t help but notice how much of the beam is cutoff by the bed. It’s almost a wast to have them mounted there.
I’m considering buying some aluminum spacers and longer bolts, nothing extreme, to lift them a little higher to hopefully allow more light to make its way over the tailgate.
Has anyone done this or does anyone see any initial issues with this idea?
Thanks in advance for you thoughts on this.
