Great points...I personally would not do it, sound awesome, but i didnt see any benefits from it, except adding room for failure. Not only will you have to worry about the slight flutter, but any electrical issues...

sounds cool, and a great idea, but as what was mentioned above, i wouldnt.

Update from Falcon... I was a big poster 'over there' on the subject, the biggest issue I had was finding a source for the oval cutouts. I finally found them. They are from DMH, but the only place I have seen that has a good selection of single and dual cutouts is "Stainless Works" [http://tinyurl.com/25vekoq]. A great site for anything exhaust. They are working on a Raptor 6.2 Header exhaust system, see SVT Offroad post http://tinyurl.com/2evtbgj.

Damn, sorry Falcon. Had I realized you were looking for a source I would have sent you to DMH immediately.

They make a great kit, and their customer service is top notch. In fairness, I have to disclose that I've gone thru 4 sets of their ovals on my Magnum, with the forth currently on the car and now leaking as well. The butterfly valve just wont stay closed, so it sounds like loose change rattling around under there.

But I sincerely doubt you'd have similar problems with the Raptor. You'd probably be positioning if much further down the pipe than my duals are, meaning you wouldn't have the same heat issues I do.

Of course Stainless Works would seem to be a great source too, although I have no first hand experience with them.

Hope that helps!
