I was finally able to get ahold of some Eibach's for the front of my 2018 Raptor, as well as a camber kit from SDHQ, and had them installed by a local mechanic. I would normally do this type of work myself, but decided not to for two reasons: 1) I do not have a spring compressor large enough to handle these types of springs/struts, and I wasn't going to risk my life with a rented set from AutoZone and 2) the torque specs for the lower strut mount bolt are like 300+ ft-lbs, and I don't have a torque wrench that large.
So I put feelers out to three different businesses for installation cost, and got the following:
1. Local off-road shop = $840 for parts and installation. No idea if that included an alignment or not.
2. Local Ford dealership = $750, not including spring cost. Unknown labor hours as they hadn't done a Raptor yet. Said it would be $150/hour + $150 for the alignment. Said that it shouldn't take more than 4 hours, so stated they would cap the labor at 4 hours, or $600.
3. Local mechanic/former Ford dealership Master Tech = $550 labor, including alignment.
After reading some reviews, I ended up going with the local mechanic. Guy did a great job, and had my truck back to me in about 5 hours.
Results: Truck definitely sits nose-high, which seems to be a common occurrence with these springs. I will more than likely be adding a temporary lift block, but ultimately will be installing some Icon leafs. While driving, the front end is much more predictable, and no longer dives when braking, or rolls while cornering. Really like the feel of these.
Measurements:
Stock springs: Ground to wheel well = 39.75"/ Center of wheel to wheel well = ~23.25"
Eibachs: Ground to wheel well = 42.375"/ Center of wheel to wheel well = ~26"
