Hey guys! From Vancouver ! Love this forum and the tips and tricks exchanged for getting things modified on the Raptors.

Got a 2019 and I've finally ordered the Eibach springs and now I'm shopping around for instal rates and alignment. I'm being quoted anywhere from 2, 3 to 4hrs to do the install. Ford dealership is quoting 3hrs forb$600 without alignment. Lol! I have been told that I'll also need the lower shock bolts (?) replaced as well? Not sure why, unless they are a one time use? Anyone know about this?

Looking to go with 37's on 20×10 Methods on KO2'S. This might take a while due to the Covid issues...but just want to make sure I have all my stuff lined up before I get the work done.

Are you saying towing capacity is reduced with after market springs?

Yes. Experienced it myself. Went from stock to Deaver +2 (non-HD) on my Gen 1 and the truck sagged worse while towing. That said, it performed better in all other conditions.

If I had gone with Deaver it would have been +3HD most likely. I ended up going with Icons on the setup option #2 and it does way better all the way around. My stock springs were already toast when I removed them.

Somewhere there’s a discussion of cost for Eibach install and alignment. The prices people were finding ran anywhere from $250 to $700 or so, though vast majority were in the $4-600 range. Your dealership quote is high particularly not including alignment. I’d look elsewhere and shop around. If you find a reputable shop with a quote in that 4-600 range, you’re in business.

Thanks for the response man. Yeah I'll be shopping around for prices. Just gotta figure out the whole lower bolt issue as well.
