I am wanting to open up access to the lower grille area for a light. I have seen Trey's solution (flip the stock plate bracket - refer to pic below), but was curious about alternatives. I have noticed that the Eco-Boost trucks use an off-set bracket that mounts in lieu of a bumper pad. The bumper pads looks like they are a different shape.

Think it will swap over?

Here is the part number for the off-set bracket (pretty sure this is correct): BL3Z-17E811-AA (note: this PN inludes the PS bumper pad and the DS bracket).

I'm a fan of the centered location vs the offset on the Eco. It just looks off balance. Wasn't it BDRAG who had the sticker for a front plate? That could work too.

That sounds interesting... BDRAG, have more info?

He had a vinyl sticker made that looks identical to his TX plate...including the reflective ink and everything. He rolled it onto his skid plate and I will admit it looks damn good. He says that he's never been bothered for it, but it'd be my like that I'd get pulled over and ticketed for it.
