So from what I gather from this thread and from what I've watched on YouTube is that Gen 1 owners did drill holes in their CAC, intercooler, and this seems to have resolved the water condensation issue while it isn't necessary for the Gen2 Raptors 17-19?

It may be stated here and if so I apologize since I've only read a few dozen posts so far but what exactly did Ford do to correct this issue?

I haven't seen a need to drill a hole. I've got about 9k on the truck and have looked inside the intercooler and had no oil or water inside

What happens to the portion that is not plugged? Especially if you drive in high water? Can animals / bugs crawl into the unplugged portion and cause damage?

U guys think that works and is it safe for the engine? U only cover one hole and how about the second one? Any performance decrease?

I’m a rookie when it comes to turbo but from what I heard any good mechanic would not recommend this
