Easy fire extinguisher mount

Hey everyone.

Here is my take on an easy and un damaging way to mount fire extinguishers in our cabs.

I purchased the extinguisher from Home Depot for $20.00

I have Velcro cinch straps from work that hold very tight. I used 2 straps and strapped it to the rear grab handles. These straps hold super tight and the extinguisher dose not rattle move or wiggle at all. The Velcro straps are very fast and easy to remove in emergency's.

I definite like the quick availability of it but I don't know I like having it behind my head. I think I might just mount mine in the bed or the truck.

I would relocate that ASAP!!! I had mine mounted to the floor under the back seat, I hit so hard at TRR it knocked it out of the mount and bent it.

velcro? that setup can get someone hurt really quick if you ask my. I'd look for a better mounting solution.

Allright all you smart asses. I moved it.

FYI that velcro holds tight with some stretch preload. I used to hold a full size shovel to the side of my jeeps roof rack with 2 straps. I did that for 3 years
