Used them in many larger tires... 44", 46"... works great. Otherwise big tires are impossible to balance without huge weights and never stay balanced.

GREAT LAKES RAPTOR EXCURSIONS

Obviously I can only speak on behalf of myself and my 1st hand experience with them. The initial install didn't work. There was an initial wobble u till the wheels started rolling and the beads started spinning...then I got a wobble from 60-65. After 3 differnt weight amounts put in it merely only changed at which speed the wobble started. The initial wobble from a slow was and will always be unacceptable. A good shop can balance them....and if not for the damage to my wheels by a careless tech I'd be singing holy praise for the roadforce balance as my tires are super smooth right now after road forced

Any balancing done with weights is only a temporary fix. I have had them in all of my tires for the past 6 years & have not had one issue with any tire.
If the tires are so far out that the beads will not work, then have them balanced & then install the beads to maintain the correct balance for the life of the tire. That's just my experience with hundreds of tires I have mounted & gotten nothing but compliments from customers.

keep in mind the balance beads do not fit through the valve stem with the toms sensors so the tire has to be broken down for the install

If and when I move to Cali which could be soon I'll give ya a chance to put your money where your mouth is!!!! I'd love to not have 118lbs of silver sticky weights on black wheels!

(Honostly though I'm such a perfectionist nut the initial wobble before beads get up to speed would keep me unhappy, if you could make that not happen I'd be in for sure. )

Easily done. Just pop the bead on one side & pour them in

You'll have to be quick as I am moving to Texas in a little over a month!
I can tell you if you run lower pressure in your tires, the beads tend to not work as well. It has to do with the center tire tread buckling & forcing the beads to the sides.

Interesting. I was winding what your of terrain you were running on with success. I've heard of problems with the beads not being able to settle down and balance the wheel when constantly jostled from off-roading or even highway joints and potholes.

Is there any alternatives? I have trouble keeping wheel weights on my wheels. My UCA knocks them off.

Thanks for the help.
