I have a 2011. I recently noticed that the climate controls are opposite on both sides. When I have it in single mode and set at say 65, the passenger side is blowing hot and driver side is blowing cold. In dual climate mode when I put the passenger temp at 90, it will finally blow cold.

Anyone else have this issue and any idea what it is? Out of warranty and trying to avoid paying ridiculous Ford service labor charges.

Thanks for any help.

That could be the blend door. I've heard people say it can be a pretty expensive repair.

There shouldn't be too much of a cost to have the dealer at least look at it and give you a quote with labor/parts.

I don't think this is a blend door issue. I've already had to do a blend door in the wife's Exploder and they generally have a ticking sound. The heat works, the a/c works and all functions (feet, defrost, etc) all work. Seems more like some sort of sensor.
