I've put a shit ton miles on my truck to do just that...A Raptor is built for the dirt world. If I'm going to drag race Ill take a purpose built machine to do so. Based on your original question maybe you should really think before you speak/post. It takes a ******* to launch in 4 wheel drive on a super tacky track. ***** gonna break and break good. Then you'll whine that it wont be covered under warranty and the dealer sucks and then the calls to corporate will begin and so on. How bout a dyno? and then compare just sayin... Just trade it in and sign up on another forum and save us all from your ******** like posts.

Are you ******* ******** me right now man?

If you don't have something productive to contribute, go be ********** on a PT cruiser forum. Many of us come on here for info, and rarely find it now with all this BS in every post...

I'm going to New England Dragway tonight with some friends and am going to run the Raptor. Has anyone taken theirs yet? 2WD 4A or 4WD Launch?

Given it's early in season i'm betting you will be able to hotlap all night, so I'd try out both 2H and 4A in sport mode with Trac off. Many of the Best ETs on our Gen1's did come from 4H, but now we have the 4Auto which i'd expect to be the best option. Turn on the power distribution setting on screen, and see if theres much front distribution on the big end of track. Its gonna pull more in 4, but curious to hear what ya find works

Good luck! Go on the third yellow! Not the green!

I ran a consistent 14.1 @ approx. 95 mph on april 1st when our local track opened.

I also drove my truck on the dragon.

Is it made for either event I just mentioned? Naw. Was it fun doing those events in a truck that I haven't been offroad yet in 6000 miles? **** yeah.

I wish people would stop critiquing everyone else on what they haven't done in their truck. People have different needs and wants. I also live pretty far from any offroading places. (pretty far is at least a couple hours)

I put the truck in 4A, brake and gas at the same time. Launch at approx. 2500 rpm.

When i eventually get mine i will be taking it to the 1/4 mile track as well. Why not? Ive driven a 64 VW bug down the 1/4 mile and ran a blistering 17+ second pass. Was it slow? Yes, but i had fun doing it. The funny part is i used to own a 96 mustang GT and it ran high 14's in the 1/4. So this truck is actually faster from what im seeing. And yes i also have a 03 terminator mustang in the garage that runs 11's in the 1/4 but i still want to run my raptor when i get it. So dont judge others hobbies. The point is to enjoy the truck, however you see fit!
