Dovetail / Modified frame horn resale

As the title says, I'm wondering just how much doing a dovetail rear with a modified frame horn front bumper would affect the resale, if at all?

Well you can kiss selling it to a dealership goodbye. A dealership or a major one at least, won't touch a vehicle that's had modifications to the frame. It's a big liability. Now selling it private party wouldn't be a problem plus you'd most likely get what you want for it.

good chance you lose a lot of your market by doing those mods though. There are a lot of people out there who probably don't want that on their truck

I think it might scare certain buyers away. I did the horns but not the bedsides. The horns can be welded back on if cut off cleanly. Cutting the bedsides would require new bedsides to return to stock I'm guessing
