aha. I hadn't read through the thread. Just caught the title under new posts and was curious. That is actually pretty cool

Cut under the tail light with a sawzaw and long blade- there is multiple layers. Then use a air saw on the rest. Using cutting wheels bubble the paint. Small air saw or small sawzaw works perfect using a fine tooth blade. Won't pull on the metal or heat it up to much.

Ok that makes more sense. I figured you had a way to do it that wouldn't impact the paint so you would have to repaint it. Thanks for the info!

We put a moulding in it not sure where it came from but it works and finishes the edge off

The high mount exahaust looks great KHC. I'm looking to relocate mine before the desert takes it out for me.
