Doors won’t lock or unlock

2023 with 9k miles. Suddenly doors won’t lock or unlock

Lights go on when key fob near and horn beeps when I hit lock but no action

Feel like I am back in the 80’s having to use a key and manually lock the doors

Thoughts?

Most likely battery or key fob battery.

My 2023 was acting up and I replaced the key fob battery and everything went back to normal. Yes I know that battery should last longer, but it worked so who knows

Forgot to mention that I can’t lock or unlock the doors from the inside door switch either

Sounds like your battery is on the way out. Had similar issues until it was replaced. I have a 23 with 11K miles on it. Feb 2023 build, June 2023 delivery new.

The truck likes to shut off random things when the battery SoC is low

As the SA said last Friday to me, "when I see a 23 F150, it's either had it's battery replaced or is coming in to have it's battery replaced"

When I had all types of funny shit occurring with electrical, the battery changed helped it all.

Except when I needed a new FKING engine.
