As far as railroad tracks/rights of way, they are usually owned by the railroad who pays taxes on the land and improvements. They are private property which is why they have their own as well as local police to protect it. If you park on the tracks and a train hits your car/truck, you are responsible for all damages. That includes damage to the train, the tracks, and your rig. Insurance will not pay.

did your governer make it a sanctuary state yet? And to think, people gave Chris Cristy shit........
I cannot comment on our governor as I am incapable of doing him justice without using language that would probably get me kicked off of any forum known to man...

Yes, this is just north of where atsion road hits rt 206. I just kept seeing "impound" and $500 and didn't go in; but I'm going back tomorrow now that I actually bothered to look at the damn laws...

Did you make it back to the park at all?
I never been but plan on making it down there this month, hopefully.

I'm actually here right now, and saw police vehicle on the trail so I stopped and talked to the officer to find out that yes, it is okay to be in here, the sign just means your vehicle has to be registered and street legal in Jersey and to stay on the marked trails / roads

Thanks for the update Rocsteady. I’m originally from Jersey, now in Pennsy. Guess it’s been awhile since I’ve been mudding in the pines, sign would have been a concern for me as well.

Aaaaaand then our super, wonderful, great governor (uh, no) closed state parks and forests in order to save the world .
BUT, reopening Saturday because the world doesn't need saving anymore. Whatever, just let me on the trails.
