I added marker lights to my wife's Badlands. Does that make it a Fronco?

It's not a fake bronco, so no. The marker lights obviously aren't required legally, but it's your vehicle to do with as you please. I'm not a huge fan, but I have some aftermarket lights I really don't need and use...so, whatever.

Bad , Only if you drive during the day with only your 3 marker lights on like the Toyota's /Colorado's /Ram diesels do.

Just kidding. Extra front illumination is real smart in rural areas where two lane highways are so prevalent. Here in northern Nevada US-93 is a perennial killer. It's a main north-south route for all kinds of traffic including 18-wheelers south out of Twin Falls, Idaho, crosses I-80 in northern Nevada, and then goes all the way to Las Vegas. People die on US-93 all the time because drivers get stuck behind slow commercial trucks, pull into the oncoming lane to pass, and have head-on collisions with oncoming traffic. I know one sheriff's deputy who has been run off US-93 several times because of this. More front illumination to warn people looking to pass that you're there might be a life-saver. For this reason I have installed four additional LED marker lights in the bottom grill of my Raptor, and three in the top grill of another vehicle that I drive. I see that you live in Kansas, so this seems to be a smart idea for the same kind of reasons. (No therapy required. )
