Auto check says it had frame damage but the dealer said that’s only because it has shocks through the bed which I don’t believe. Anyone know the story behind this truck?

Sounds like complete ******** to me. For the to be on any of the title check places, the owner would have had to report that he damaged the frame with his mods to his insurance company. Why would anybody do that?
Yeah that’s why I’m suspect, it’s about a 5 hour trip from me I might go check it out. They said they bought it from auction and it looks to have 2 previous owners

The frame damage is on the front because of the frame cut bumper, not the shocks! Freakin morons! Looks like a lot of expensive mods, worth checking it out for sure.

Maybe not the same one, but I saw one outside Austin about a year ago that had front fenders like that one and it looked badass. It looked good that's why I remember it. Had 2 spares mounted vertically in the bed though. No idea on the frame damage, maybe they cut the rear shock hangers off the frame to run them through the bed? I don't really think anything other than an accident would trigger that though, but I don't really know. I like it.

In a lot of states, frame cut bumpers is considered “frame damage”
