I have had some left over dynamat in my garage from another project and decided to wrap the stock enclosure. Wow what a difference, this is not earth shattering but you can tell a 35% increase in bass out put from stock.

Yes I know bass is misspelled in the title I can’t fix it

Get Some, nice work and this is the sub for the B&O (2018) system? I replaced the sub in my 2016 KR with the VSS Kicker sub/amp and nice difference, never thought to wrap the enclosure though...

wrapping the enclosure not only gives you more bass, it’s a tighter, cleaner sound. well worth it whether you add an amp or not.

I just did this mod with blsck sound dynamat. I would agree there is a significant increase in bass output and clarity. Sub comes out with 3 13mm nuts. Well worth the time

Addendum - now after a weekend of usage, I have decided to not upgrade the sub in any way bc the increase in output and clarity is enough for me after this mod.

I haven’t heard the stock sub + enclosure wrapped, but I know with the kicker 8” and 300w amp, it sounds respectable.

Awesome work! Very interested in doing this mod. Is there a way to fold down the upper 60% portion of the seat to gain access? I can only get the 40% jack-side to fold down.

^^^^found it....

Also, what was the thickness of the material?

Thanks!

My 2018 SCAB had a factory pull release, but I'm not sure if the SCREW has the same release though.

Thanks!

But no pull release ******** my ‘18 SCREW.
It is identical to the posted video. Worked like a charm though.
