4th of July is coming up quick. I had been thinking about how to set up a flag in the back of the truck bed without spending the time drilling through the linex in the truck bed. Here is what I did:
Took a 5 gallon bucket. Filled it with quickset concrete 60lbs bag. took a 5 foot peice of 1/2"conduit. drilled screws into it the help hold and set in the concrete. place conduit into bucket. Took a piece of wood. drilled a 1/2" hole into the wood to level the conduit. Place bed rail hitches with loose hanging screws (to again help hold in concrete) and set them about 1/2" below the wet concrete. Sit and wait.
To mount the flag I just used #0 conduit hangers and small carribeeners to flag.
