Disappointing email from Roush

I emailed Roush the following

I'm interested in the CAI for my 6.2l Ford Raptor. How Is the filter going to do in an off-road environment?

Here is there reply:

Thanks for contacting ROUSH Performance.

If the off road conditions you are referring to where there is mud, sand, water etc... This is not recommended.

that's pretty much the answer any aftermarket intake manufacturer should give you unless the CAI has a lid. can't fault them for honesty...

Same answer for the Roush Cat-back! Ha Ha! Why would any one want to mix Roush parts with SVT anyway? SVT should make a cold air intake for the Raptor like they do for the Shelby, that would be sweet, SVT parts for an SVT!

roush has quality parts, why wouldnt you want to mix roush and SVT?

Its simple you would not put Roush mufflers or CAI on an Svt Shelby mustang so why would you want to put them on a SVT Raptor. A Roush mustang is cool and so is a Roush F150, but those parts dont belong on a SVT.

What's wrong with putting a roush exhaust on an svt product if it improves sound, or performance? Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I am a Raptor owner who does'nt think it belongS! Hey thats just my opinion did'nt say it was the law.
By the way who are you to argue and say what belongs on what? DO YOU HAVE ONE ON YOUR RAPTOR?
