Disable inflatable belt for usage with car seats?

Is there a way to disable the inflatable belt so it can be used with car seats? I specifically want to do a Cybex Sirona S (wifey chose that one), and Cybex themselves haven't approved for usage with this new kind of belt. Unfortunately, I'm having a very hard time finding recent manufacturer information about compatibility (sites are from 2014, maybe 2016... nothing that's clearly modern 2021 information including the latest car seat models, which is necessary for me to have confidence we can shop the new ones we want).

theres no way... After doing a ton of research on the infant car seat I ended up buying a britax bsafe infant car seat. (should have just done more research becuase i then had to "upgrade " once the kid hit 22 lbs, and now \shes in this

I recently went through the rabbit hole you are doing in trying to research current information on using a specific car seat we wanted (x2 with twins). All the information I found fell short and the inflatable seatbelts were an issue that I had not anticipated when I purchased my 2019 Raptor.

We ended up using the LATCH system for the twins and honestly I'm quite happy with the results.

I thought it was going to be an issue that we could not physically see them sitting in the car seats because they would be rear facing but it has turned out to be no issue at all. I also feel safer now that if I get in a collision they are more likely to be protected in the forward movement of their bodies into the car seat as opposed to out of the car seat and into the restraints.

Ok, then why are you fiddling around with the seat belt?

Clek allows for use with inflatable belts. The just have you leave a lock open to allow room for expansion. I have the Foonf and Fllo. They about the same except the Foonf has a rigid latch system for forward facing.

The LATCH system only has a rating of 65lbs. This includes the weight of the child+ seat.

To be clear I am using the LATCH system now and I love it. Unfortunately, LATCH is an early age (low weight) solution only. There's a necessary gap where children have outgrown the weight limits of LATCH but are not yet ready to just hang out in Mommy's lap (lol). This was not obvious to me until I actually got into the details as a parent, but it bears simple summarization here: current safety standards quite literally require children to use a rear seat and seatbelt-mounted car seat in the first few years of their life (LATCH is an infant-only, temporary, solution).
