Differing Height in Rear from Side to Side

The Gen1 Raptor has this issue and this where the term "Raptor Lean" came from. Soft suspension and a 36 gallon gas tank on the drivers side is the cause.

Those who go with progressive springs often have them arched 7/8" to 1" inch more on the left than the right to get the Raptor level.

His issue is with the driver's side being higher and not lower.

I think every one of these trucks have a slight difference side-to-side. My question is, does it matter? Honestly, given the forces at work and dynamic nature of all the components, I'd be surprised if it were ever perfectly level.

The gas tank makes total sense if it was always leaning the same way but when I pulled up to work I walked out with my tape measure and it was leaning to the passenger side the opposite of how it had been at my house. It sounds like something I just need to get used to but I think I just have the wrong personality for that. I think until I understand what is going on and know that it is not an issue that could be corrected I will continue to wonder what is wrong.

I had the same thought until it was a whole inch or more different. I understand that is an arbitrary measurement to choose but at an inch or more it is very visibly noticeable to the naked eye and not just something you need to measure to know is different.

Did it have a full tank of gas? And a driver in it? That's potentially 215 pounds of gas and maybe 175 pounds of person that will only be on the driver-side of the truck. There's literally no way both sides of the truck would ever be perfectly level all the time. But again, unless there are massive differences that are affecting how the truck operates, what does it matter?

For what it's worth, I've also heard that the live valve shocks can cause these differences. If it makes you feel any better, my 2019 is different side to side as well but I just dont care.

This has been discussed before and the consensus was its the combination of the live shocks and light springs.
It does not matter.

My brand new 2019 has lean too. About an inch. Bugs me too

It is something you need to get used to. I had to as well! With the OEM 2.5 shocks my Raptor would sit level one day, then show Raptor Lean, back to level then appear to be higher on the passenger side as well.

Its the nature of the beast when you have soft suspension

Is this a 2019 issue only? I have checked my 2018 several times before and after I added Geisers and Deavers, but I have never seen more than a 1/4” difference when my gas tank is full or empty.
