My guess is its not the drain tubes at all.
The way the sunroof frame is made, the back corners were the drain tubes are attached is a ****** riveted corner that gets loose and leaks. So water gets outside the track and runs down the underside of the headliner and then down the back wall getting the carpet wet at the cab corners...
Ask me how I know..lol
I chased a water issue for months on the old Baja beater 2011.

The fix... you have to rip out the entire sunroof track and seal up the corners, or while you are that "deep in her" just replace the old one with a new one and seal that one up.
I'm looking at deleting the sun-roof, but haven't found a weld in panel yet
