Did ford fix anything for the Gen 3 with Cham Phasers

I am curious what's the average mileage when the cam phaser issue starts to show itself? I'm a 2020 with 24k miles and nothing runs like a champ. If guys get past a certain mileage and no problems then are we in the clear so to speak, or can it rear its head at any time?
I had it at 15k on my 2019.

Made it to 89,000 miles, then had the update and it wasn’t quiet till 101k. So I just added Lucas to the oil and it cut the cold start morning rattling from 4sec to 1sec and the during the day rattle that happen every start up, to a 1sec rattle only after 3+ hours of sitting. I am completely out of warranty and don’t want to fork up $2500 to have this repaired. So I went from 7k oil changes to 4k and it seems to help.
Any truck built after November 2019 should not expect to see this problem, as that is when Ford made a few tweaks to eliminate the phaser issues.

The phaser is not going to bleed down during a stop/start event, so that is not a factor.
I use my stop start around town pretty frequently as it doesn't bother me. With all my research they have it figured out to the point where it does not harm the engine or starter. Whats your philosiphy on it being a tech and seeing all these motors come into the shop. I personally never heard of an issue related to stop start. I used to hate it , but with modern metallurgy, low friction rings and anti-drain back i suspect its a non issue. Like if you were to open up 2 blocks side by side one with ess frequent and one disabled. I bet you could not tell the difference. What say you?

Agreed. It’s not like it’s a cold/dry start, the oil is already warm and circulated through the engine.

70K on a Gen 1 2011 and 110k on a gen 2 2017 raptor no issues, never to the garage for any service either truck, waste gate rattle is the only thing could complain about on the 2017
hope the Gen 3 treats me as good

I’m sure we all got the notice about the cam phasers, so I took mine up to the dealer I have a 17 with only 35K and was told if your not having problems with it, don’t worry about it.

By now, if you don’t have an ESP, you’ve missed out on the extended coverage offered by the TSB. Even if you had and ESP, the extended coverage window for eligibility has passed.

Even so, the programming works for the ‘19+ trucks so why NOT have it put on?

the programming took care of all the noises on my very early 2019 build, for awhile..

now im occasionally getting the low end knock at hot idele and more frequently getting the warm start 1 second rattle at 47K and mobil 1 every 6000mi
