If its raining it will be dead, most cars there only see dry roads. Don't wast your time driving there.

I looked at every Dallas Cars and Coffee web site I can find and NOWHERE does it mention what they do if it rains or is going to rain. So I guess I can drive up there around 7:00am Saturday and look and see whats going on. I guess that many if not most of the rides would bail out. So if they do and the dealer has already moved all the Beemers off the lot, maybe we could have an AUTOCROSS in the rain? HAhahaaaaaaa.

I am in for Micocina's REGARDLESS. See everyone at one or the other.....

Cars and Coffee will be dead. I'm gonna wait till next month.

So the plan is Mi Cocina's at the Shops at Legacy in Plano at 11?

Does ANYONE know of a place we can take the trucks to have a little fun? I'm talking within an hour or so...

Brideport is the closest, but there isn't anything out there fun for a Raptor that wouldn't result in a ton Texas Pine stripping.

Was in New Mexico over the Holiday - wide open desert roads, perfect for the Raptor.

I don't know of anything around here like that, which is too bad - it's definitely what the truck was built for. I don't really care to mud it either...especially since I've been forced to hand wash this thing since it doesn't fit through the auto wash !

O.K. all,

I just called out to this Brushy Creek place and talked to the owner. Russ. Seems like a likable fella. He has about 100 acres, there are 2 or 3 washes that lead up to a large creek area. So if a few scrub brush scratches don't bother you this may be fun. He said this weekend may be muddy as hell but he said we can come on out.

He said, we can have some time on the motocross track if we don't tear his berms up to bad. If its muddy we can't be on his track. He said if its dry and a weekend he would have to clear some spots or time for the track. That would be cool. We would be the center of attraction for the quad and dirt bike crowd. He seems like he wants to have us out just to watch. HAhahaaaaa.

Sounds like this weekend would be iffy at best but it defiantly sounds like a place to go at least once. He has a clean porta *****. No other amenities. There are some open fields to do donuts and sliding around along with a few trails that some speed may be had on. He said he has been into off roading for 40 years? Hummmmm?

There is a FRF member out that way, Raccol I think? I may get him to stop by and check it out. Russ says the place is almost deserted during the week and this time of year not a lot of weekend traffic either.

The only thing Russ wants us to know is there are kids around and we have to be careful and be to damn crazy. No flags needed, just common sense.

The cost is $15 a day per truck and $10 for each passenger, not bad! We can talk Saturday.......

Thanks for calling BDRag - we'll definitely need to check that out on a dry weekend. It would be great of Raccol could swing by and check it out for us if possible.

I've been thinking about getting an ATV up here now that I've got a truck again, this may talk me into it now.
