Maybe I missed it, but where were you told 10/9 for the delivery? That'd be awesome. Hope it works out. My dealer has me 5th in line, but they say they still haven't received their allocation.

Yes, that's the "anticipated delivery date" according to Ford. I doubt it's very accurate, but they (Ford) claim it's typically "very accurate". We'll see!

Did you put your order # somewhere online to get that information? Dealer gave it to you? Thanks for the info. It may very well be accurate. Anyone saying it definitely won't come doesn't know anyway.

I input the order number that was on the form I received from my dealer. I used the same number when I called Ford to enquire.

I believe it's called "order code", and it's on the order sheet the dealership gave me.
