I miss the road manners of my KO2's after switching to Nitto Trail Grapplers. Love the look of the Nitto's but will probably go back to KO2's for the winter or when the Nitto's wear out.

I've always ran the Open Country MT on my CTD. Love the look. Very aggressive. Recently switched to the Ko2 just to try something else and they're about $200 cheaper per set. Been satisfied and got about 19,800 miles out of them. I dont think I squeaked that many out of the Toyos. Iirc it was around 16k

Side question....
What's the difference between the (OEM) 315 70 R17 K02, and the 35x12.50 R17 K02? I know the 35 is slightly larger (.6"), but any other significant difference??? I'm thinking that's my next tire.

I had 37" Nitto Terra Grapplers until yesterday. Great tires, awesome in mud, looked great. They were very heavy and I saw a significant drop in mileage. I got 55,000 miles out of them and they were good for another 5000. Just put back on 315-70-17 BFG KO2's and cant believe how quiet and smooth they are. My truck feels much faster on acceleration and my truck rides like it was meant to again. I would stick with the KO2's, maybe the 37's as they are lighter than the Nittos and more well mannered.

The Raptor K02 tire is specific to the Raptor. It has been recommended to me, by someone who knows what they are talking about and works for Goodyear, to stick with the factory spec Raptor K02.

The factory spec tire behaves better as a daily driver and offers more surface area for improved off and on road performance. Different rubber compound and requires less pressure for optimal performance as I understand.
