Well,
I went with the Icon stage 4 kit and Toyo RT 37's
The ride is quite a bit stiffer over stock front and rear. Got all the settings as soft as they can go on both front and rear and not much difference, the front preload is cranked(explains the front ride) to clear the 37's so I may go back to 35's, remove a leaf from the rear. OR go Deavers, fox 3.0 live shocks and sell the Icon kit
And the hunt for the best on-road and off-road ride continues lol

I have the Icons set to option 2 with a RPG bed rack, jack and 2 spare 37's. Fox 3.0's and the ride is awesome. What option do you have the rear set to?

I replaced the stock springs with Deaver +3s. Everybody on this forum seems to feel that they significantly reduce wheel hop, but I have not noticed a huge difference. I like them and wanted the extra inch of clearance to coincide with the Geiser springs that I added up front to fit 37" tires, but as for ride quality, they are only marginally better in my opinion. Please note that this feedback is based predominately on street use. I have other toys that I use for off-roading.

I dont know how you cant see a difference. Stock I got wheel hop like crazy when spinning.

I have drag raced on dirt and pavement and got literally ZERO wheel hop at all. For me it basically eliminated it.. Deaver +3s.

OK ..... I was referring to how the wheels can skip over bumps if you are going around a bend/corner; this is where I did not see a huge difference between the two. As for wheel hop from a hard start which spins the tires, I have to admit that I really haven't given that a test. If I have had wheel spin, it was usually on wet roads, so no wheel hop occurred with either set of springs.

Gotcha , that makes more sense! I didn't understand how our experiences could be so drastically different!

I must have option two because the add a leaf wasn't installed. I also added the HDSQ bed rack with the pro eagle jack, 15 gallon power tank, and currently have four of stock wheels/tires in the bed. Swapping back to the stock wheels/tires Monday and setting the icons back to "out of the box" to see how it rides.
