Damn, I have to work on the 28th. This would have been a good first organized event for me to try.

Hard to tell from here, but you look like you might be getting deathly ill. The type of sickness that creeps in on you slowly over three weeks and then peeks for two days. Only to be completely disappear.

I would just take it off, but I work graves so I would also have to take the 27th. Plus I need to save my work favors for the upcoming road race season.

Bummer! I'll be in Vegas that same weekend, but for my 2 year Anniversary. No offense, but I hope not to see you guys. I'll just get pissed off! I'll be shopping. :idiot:

If anybody decides where they're staying soon, let me know!

I'm looking towards center-strip... just so we can walk around at night and still have lots to do! Maybe Mirage, or something like that...

I'm In! I was looking for this thread. I will register soon. Just got my SCrew 2 days ago. I live in Vegas so I don't know if I'm gonna hit up the strip but the ride should be nice! Is there a trail map available for this trip? I'm curious as to the exact path. I've taken the road before from Laughlin to Barstow, it must be the same one or one that is parallel.

Laughlin to Barstow is the Mojave Trail most likely... we will not be taking those trails, different direction all together! You'll see some new stuff for sure. :)

I will post up an overview of the run when we get closer to the event. Basically, it's going to be north of the I-15 from Barstow to Baker, at which point we'll cross over the 15 to hit up the Cima Lava fields southeast from Baker. Once through the lava fields, it will be back over the 15 to the north side, over and up through sky ranch, eventually hitting Blue Diamond highway near Red Rock canyon.

Going to be a great route!

Be sure to register when you get a chance, the earlier the better. We want to make sure we have a good idea of the turnout, in case we need to run 2 groups. Looking forward to meeting you, great way to break that new truck in, right? hehe
