I know it has been discussed that the dealer can see if a tune has been installed. Can they see the date that the tune was installed or just that one was installed?

My understanding is the same, but it is just based on comments provided in other posts. I believe one member of the forum resolved the dealer's concern by stating that he disconnected the battery for a period of time so he could install fog lights. I am not 100% sure, but it sounds like that also causes everything to be reset just like reinstalling the stock tune. They can see that it was flashed and how manny times not what was flashed form what I understand.
Your response may be correct, but it conflicts with what other people have posted. As stated above, other people claim that they can only see that your truck has been flashed when reinstalling the stock tune, but that is it. What other evidence is specifically left behind? Do log files remain showing increased boost and timing that are different than stock? Only reply if you definitively know the answer.Yes they can. Whether or not they decide it's worth digging deep and spending time on to figure out depends on the size of the warranty claim.
New motor - they will look.
New PCV valve - unlikely.
