As above… mine is a 2014 Screw but I believe they are all small rack 1-5/16” tie rod and 2-1/4” rack OD?

Empi have kits… Empi most likely the OEM of the drive shafts, I believe they are Empi 86-2340-D and 86-2338-D part numbers, as taken from the Gen 1 Raptor bookface page. Some kind gent posted a pic of a rebuilt CV axle on there, if you are here, please take a virtual beer.

Assume Empi may have been the OEM steering bellows supplier… less of an issue with these as they are available… but on nationwide back order via many suppliers (tried a few states side, no joy… Ford UAE, 40-60d back order, other Ford parts places no stock)… there have to be other options out there?

Assume Empi have one, Delphi do not, only stock F-150 rack type. Ordered a Beck/Arnley one to try, was about 50 dibs / tenner £10… also another one from SDHQ. My mate has ordered a batch from eBay and we are going to pool them for our cars plus punt them if someone needs them.

Let me know how you’ve got on with these. Cheers folks. :D

For some reason, the dreaded Raptor Tax hasn't been applied to cv axles, so they are still readily available & cheap to replace through sources like RockAuto. Screenshot_20231025-092641_Chrome.jpg20231025_092803.jpg

Those carboner / trakmotive axles are trash. They are a little shorter than the stock raptor axles and the boots rip immediately. I guess they will work good as spares.

I have trakmotives that seem to be fine so far. Didn’t realize they were shorter if that’s the case. Boots are still good 30k mi in.

Are those on road miles and about what perch are you at? I have not confirmed but.am guessing they have the same part number as f150 axles. I'm about top perch with 3.0's and the boots tore first trip. Stock oem axles with with epi boots seem to work best for me but my truck is mostly offroad.

Yes on road miles, no real good off-road near me but I get after it in the snow in the winter.

Stock front Gen 1 on mid perch.
