What does a black, machined SVT set cost? Might be in for a set, despite not having a set of Methods to use them on.

first page says $200+ $20 for shipping.. not sure if thats changed tho

Ok so it seems as though there is interest again. A little info before we start so there isn't any confusion.

The caps are 30.5mm tall and 94mm at the opening. They have been really consistent with sitting flush or close to flush on 17 inch nv and mesh wheels. The won't fit roost fat 5 or straight 6. The will fit other sizes of nvs mesh standard or double standard but I suggest measuring. Pull a wheel measure with a digital caliper front face to back face at center bore opening. Depending on your thickness of the wheel you will know how they sit. Sometimes they are flush, too tall or too short.....only by a few mm's. If there is a need to cut them taller i.e. 3-4 guys measure and say hey we all need a 34.9 or a 33 or 35 for example. I can try to accommodate those guys. As the caps are done efficiently in a bulk amount to keep pricing down I cannot have caps all over the place in sizing. So again if there a few guys that all come up the a common measurement other than 30.5mm. I will have machine shop make the necessary adjustments(one size)....otherwise I will stay with the 30.5mm. As I always I want you guys to be happy with them so the sooner the better on the measuring and letting me know.

As to why the wheels are all over the place? Not sure but the manufacturing standards overseas seem to vary from run to run. I've seen 18's come in flush....and then a set of 18's come in too short. I've seen double standards be dead on flush and then too tall. I can't call it guys....I just went with the common size we all run and luckily the variances are less noticeable there(17 nv and 17 mesh). If I were the manufacturer with machining skills I'd love to do custom sets for everyone...but like nacho libre I gots no skillz.

Ok so with all that said the caps can come all black with black svt engraving, they can be black with machined out svt lettering, they can come all black no engraving. They could come raw but they look horrible and won't match the wheels raw machined wheels at all. If you have a buffer and some time maybe you could make them Match but I've tried and never got them right.

No colored lettering available.

Order gets placed when I have 10 paid reserved spots. Caps are 220 shipped paid via money order or 227.70 paid via PayPal.

Caps take 6-8weeks before finished although last run was done in 5 weeks. I cut out the custom engraving and removed a step off of the 3 step process of getting them done. Now they get cut coated and engraved all in the same state then shipped to me to get ready to ship to you.


So I received Paypal payments already so I don't want to hit refunds. Hopefully you guy who want them send the funds and start the ball rolling.

If you want to pay via PayPal please pay so I can hold your spot....as I send out the invoices the spots dwindle as payments are received. If you don't pay I will cancel them and give spit to next person coming on list. If your going to send money order please do so as soon as possible so I can account for your set.

I just ordered 18" Method Mesh. I don't have them yet. Should I be safe with the one's you make up at 30.5mm? I can live with a little off but don't want it to look bad from a distance.
