Are you doing the new Version 3 rear bumper?
I'm tempted myself on that one!

I've heard your grumblings about the bypass rack/rear shock setup.

When are these mods lined up for? Curious to hear and see the results!

I'll try not to hijack this thread too much but... I've got the SVC V2 rear bumper coming along with their new bypass rack, some steel brake lines, fender liners and lastly King 3.5s.

Really excited to see it all come together, next up will be the SVC LCA, UCAs, tie rods, and the rest of the dual shock setup. Having my tires stacked on top of each other in the bed of the truck is getting old LOL.

Got mine on today. These are the short caps and they still stick out some on my Double Standards. They all stick out evenly and look great though. Thanks @vince7870

Looks nice @Prybar, just a quick question just for food for thought...

What if someone would put a "gasket" type ring around the cap that would catch on the wider ring that catches and locks the cap to the wheel. That "gasket" would give you the mm or two that would keep the ring cap from protruding past the wheel.

Hope that makes sense what I am suggesting and would that hurt any of the strength of the wheel? @vince7870...maybe you have some opinions on this?

Standards are only 27.5 mm thick I believe so another oring wil not do the trick. There is an oring there already creations pressure between axle face and back of wheel. I've poseted a million times. Caps are 30.5 mm tall and work best in 17 nv and mesh wheels, all other please measure. I've had guys with standards swear they are 30.5 thick and they fit perfect but the majority are 27.5. It depends on when the wheels were made. Another example.....up until this last batch of method wheels almost all 18's needs the 35mm cap or the current size would be short......low and behold 4 guys with 18's on the last run...all measured 30.5. I can't call it, China does as they please.

Like Vince said, there is already an O-rig that fits on the cap and gets smashed between the flange of the cap and the lip of the wheel. When the wheel is mounted the back of the cap sits flush against the face of the hub. The O-ring is used to create even pressure on the cap to keep it from moving or rattling. Works awesome! But, there is no room at the rear of the cap to space it back further to make it flush. My wheels just happen to be thinner than the shortest caps so they stick out a bit. I honestly like it that way. It doesn't look like the center of the wheel is a monochromatic bowl quite as much!

@vince7870 if anyone backs out of a set of the SVT engraved short caps (30.5 mm) let me know. Color doesn't matter. Thanks
