It's not a worry for nv guys. Anyone who ever asked about other wheels using the caps I said the caps were 30.5 mm thick and you should measure your wheel thickness at center. With that being said I also told guys they may sit in or stick out. The manufacturer tolerances of the method wheels is all over the place. Khc Dave has standards and jl his sit in a few mm's another guy with standards purchased the caps and they stuck out about 10mm. This is also the reason I never went the route of hubcentric. These Chinese made wheels are not held to night tolerance standards and is probably the reason method themselves halted their attempt at the anno'd Cnc hub ring.

If the caps in that pic are something you cannot live with I understand. If you want to ship back to me you can and I can issue a refund. There is a wait list and I'm sure someone would grab them up. Just email me and we can discuss it further. [email protected]

Installed mine yesterday on 17" Method NVs. Color looks off in the photo for some reason but hardly noticeable in person.

It may be a hassle but try to spray them with clear matte….it will bring finish closer to method wheel finish as well as protect them from uv rays

I was thinking of spraying mine with clear plastidip or something just to protect the engraved aluminum part in the winter time with salt.

I'm going to spray mine with a nice clear coat that I used with my past head light retrofits. Holds up to the headlight heat, I'm sure it'll hold up on the wheels no probs. I forget the brand but I'll check when I get off for you guys.

Would really like to see people's solution to match the paint.

Got mine installed today just wondering why they are not even?
They are an awesome piece still just wondering if it's because I have the standards? Thanks man

How old are your wheels? A friend has had the DS's since they were first released, and inverse to yours his caps stick out ~ 1/16-1/8th inch, same on all 4. Guessing its just related to your batch of wheels, I have newer std's and mine are flush. Fwiw, my caps and his were made in the same run too
