How did you mount the sensor and where did you get power/ground from? I bought their kit and I can't seem to find any install instructions or pictures. It looks intuitive enough but figured I would ask someone who's already done it.
As above, the sensor goes inline to replace a section of fuel line near the top/front of the fuel tank. I wired mine into the evap purge solenoid wiring just forward of the fuel sensor. The evap purge power wire is always hot when the ignition is on. Your wiring will be very short because it only goes about 12" to the evap purge power connector. I used a vampire-type connector to tap the power wire and a separate ground wire to the chassis ground, so the E-sensor works without interfering with the evap purge operation. The evap purge system works by the ECU supplying the ground to activate the purge solenoid. If you're watching the E-content/temp when the purge solenoid is energized, the E-content may flip to some invalid number for a few seconds as the solenoid (all solenoid systems) sucks the DC power down when it energizes. Just know everything works as designed and the sensor is "On" any time the ignition switch is "On".

I zip-tied the sensor (not real tight) to support it and prevent it from rotating on the fuel lines, so the O-ring seals aren't twisted in use.

Or, you can run a whole bunch of additional wiring to an aux switch, but that is totally unnecessary.

I reused the black clips that held the original fuel line to support the sensor, so no zip ties needed. I think hacking into factory wiring is totally unnecessary, especially with vampire connectors, only to save 4 ft of thin gauge wire. I'm sure that sensor loves all those voltage drops as well
