Unfortunately Adam's doesn't carry everything you need to do a proper detail. They have a lot and I have a healthy amount of their product on my list but I'm looking for specific items you guys think should be substituted out or something that I completely overlooked somehow.

What types of products are you looking for that we don't carry?

We are in a constant state of improvement and always expanding our lineup. I'd love to hear your feedback!

Don't get me wrong, you guys have most of everything that one could need. What I didn't find were things like a foamaster gun or a foam cannon. I also didn't see a boar's hair brush for the paint (I saw the one for the wheels, though). I also like having more options for polishes. I'm sure, and I've seen, how well your two polishes work, but sometimes I need more cut than your paint correcting and sometimes I need less than your paint finishing.

I meant no disrespect (and hope none was taken) when I made that comment. I've used Adam's products before and loved them. I used your Metal Polish #1 and #2 on a set of CCW Classics on my 2003 Cobra and they took all the water spots and stains off the wheels and made them look like they were chrome - not polished aluminum. Can't wait to place an order and try the Super VRT and interior kit you guys offer.

No offense taken!

Just a few answers...

As far as a foam gun/cannon, finding an American made one that is actually effective is turning out to be next to impossible. We used to carry and sell one, but it started turning up with "Made in China" stamped on some of the brass parts...and they did their best to hide it. That goes completely again our business model, so we ditched it.

As far as a boars hair brush for your paint, you'll never see one of those offered from us. Synthetic wash pads and Merino Wool mitts are what we offer. As soft as our boar's hair brush is, I would never intentionally scub my paint with it. No way.

Our new Paint Correcting Polish is capable of removing 2500 wet sanding scratches with the right machine. We cater to the "at home" detailer, not so much to the body shop/restoration business. If you need a compound stronger than that, then by all means look elsewhere.

You'll be hard pressed to find a finer polish than our Finishing Polish. We have hundreds (likely thousands) of bottles of it out there being used now, and I've yet to hear anyone say they needing something finer to finish down with, even on soft paints like new Hondas. and Subarus. But as I mentioned above, if you are seeking something finer, then you won't hurt my feelings by looking for it. :)

Glad you liked the Metal Polish twins, that's a product that surprises many people. I think the general consensus is "metal polish is metal polish is metal polish," but that's certainly not the case, as you noticed.

You'll dig the SVRT, that's one of our best sellers.

:High 5:

I've always had/used Menzerna Polishes so I guess that just what I'm used to and the selection they offer really. I honestly could probably use your Finishing Polish and a mid-range Menzerna instead of your paint correcting. What Menzerna product would you compare your finishing polish to if you had to? Possibly their Super Finish SF4500? And I'm by no means a pro detailer - just an at home guy that, unfortunately, always tries to use the best product and try new products out. The only thing that's made a home in my "Detail Kit" are the menzerna polishes right now. Everything else I haven't made a decision on :/

Edit: I'll have to look into the Boars Hair Brush, then. I've never been happy with any of the mitts I've used. They always seem to degrade after a month or two and they all seem to be relatively expensive for something that degrades so quickly.

I can't honestly make a comparison to Menz polishes as I don' have enough experience with them to give a fair answer, but I know a lot of our customers are commenting that our Finishing Polish is very comparable to SF4500.

Our wash media holds up very well, both the synthetic pads and the Merino Mitt.

If for some reason you have trouble with any of our products, our 110% Guarantee is always in effect!
