Anyone able to get an agreement under msrp?
I found 2 dealers that have said Msrp and not a dollar more. One in New Mexico and one in Arizona. I’m not sure the deal with Arizona as it’s a friend I’m ordering through.
I contacted Sanderson Ford in New Mexico just to see as I heard they were no adm and guy said as long as you order and not buy a lot truck also no adm ever

On one hand, I hear you; I won't pay ADM. On the other hand, outlawing it (whether Ford or the government) is a step towards socialism; we should let the market handle it. So, let's band together and refuse pay ADM!
Very true. I feel that ADM’s are merely Dealers taking advantage of the buyer. It is Greed!

Not true. Ford can and should crack down on ADM.

Preventing price-gouging and controlling your brand is not socialism.

Think about when a new gaming console is released, or about the hot Christmas toy. Can Best Buy unilaterally decide to mark up a Playstation 25% over MSRP just because it's in demand? No, they cannot, because Sony will not let them.

ADMs almost certainly cost Ford money, too.

Let's say a Raptor costs 100k, and at that price, 10 people want to buy one. Gross margins vary by manufacturer, but 10% is a good number - so Ford makes 10k per Raptor sold. The dealer makes 5k.

At the 100k price, if 10 people buy it:

Ford profit = 10k x 10 = 100k

Dealer profit = 5k x 10 = 50k

Now... imagine the dealer puts an ADM of 10k. At that price, only 5 people want to buy the truck.

Ford profit = 10k x 5 = 50k

Dealer profit = 15k x 5 = 75k

See the difference?

Granted, this is a very simplistic scenario, but the point is that controlling ADM is NOT socialism, and may even be a benefit to Ford.

Or we should all live in a one bedroom apt and ride our govt issued issued e bike to work for the same wage as all our co workers regardless of skill and education.
Call around you will find msrp if you order one. The adm trucks along with their stickers, glass roof and a throw away plastic bed liner for $699, those will exist for awhile on lot trucks for gotta have it now buyer.
I just want to know the dang Official power numbers, come on now Ford, orders get picked up in a month.

A company controlling the prices of it's products is not socialism, or communism. It's capitalism.

I hear you. I agree that ADM is wrong. I just think price control is a slippery slope. Do we then allow the government to take it a step further and set a price the manufacturers aren't able to go over? I'm more comfortable letting the market (the people) handle it, but you make good points.

Not so. It's actually illegal for the manufacturer(s) to control the price. All the manufacture(s) can do is set an MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) and MAP (Minimum Advertised Price), but they cannot legally control the actual price a dealer sells to a customer.

100% wrong. See guidance below from FTC.

A manufacturer can mandate whatever it wants to its dealers regarding price, sale territory, etc, as long as the mandates are reasonable.

Manufacturers can also terminate relationships with dealers who do not follow their policies.

Ford's relations with it's dealers are undoubtedly more complicated than just simple pricing agreements, but it is not inherently illegal to set and control pricing.

How is it a slippery slope?

You're making a huge leap going from a company (private entity) setting prices to the government setting prices. Vastly different, and in no way connected.
