Just dropped my 2017 Raptor at the dealership today for the second time. My initial concerns when I dropped it off the 1st time were 1. coolant was getting low and refilled once a month, 2. driver side valve cover had oil pooling at the bolt, and 3. oil pan had visible oil on the bolts.
Long story short they had it for almost 3 months trying to find the exact coolant leak location finally they replaced valve pan, gaskets, cylinders and other components.
Week later I was cleaning my intake filters and decided to remove the engine foam cover and saw the pooling on the valve cover again. After doing research online I found Ford forum with the same issue which pointed to valve cover crack. So i go back and check and sure enough I could see the hairline crack.
