Hi everyone. Found this cover in my engine bay while I cleaning after our trip from Naples, FL to Northeastern PA. Any thoughts what this is for?

Could be from assembly line - connector covers on sub assemblies.

You’re lucky you got that. I just got a bunch of elastic bands lol

It’s a dust cap from a connector. Someone dropped it when assembling the wiring. Toss it.

I find many extra little parts and bolts in new off the truck vehicles. Seems to be getting more common the last couple of years lol
