Does anyone on here have experience with Cooper Tires and if they run true to size?

I have an icon 2.25 kit to put on my truck and I've been looking at the Discoverer AT3 XLTs but they only come in stock size or a 37/12.50/17...

I was originally going to go with a 35" Toyo RT or Nitto Ridge Grappler but the XLTs have a 60k mile warranty and are quite a bit lighter, even in a 37.

So - Do coopers run true to size or are they (hopefully, maybe) similar to BFGs in that they run smaller?

I dont want to get the 37s if im going to have significant rub issues. I dont mind a little trimming but I dont want to be cutting/hammering pinch welds and whatnot.

They have the actual tire diameter on the site:
http://us.coopertire.com/tires/discoverer-s-t-maxx.aspx

full specs show:
36.54 for a 17" rim

I was hoping someone would speak from experience but I did see that spec. Based on what I read on here, specs are luck of the draw.

The KM3s everyone seems to be fitting on raptors without rubbing are spec-sized at 36.5

I guess i may have to be the guinea pig. I'm not so much interested in trying to stuff a 37 but these dont come in a 35 R17, and they are WAY lighter than competing 35s that I am interested in.

I just put on (300 miles ago) 315 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs on my 2018.

I have the Fox Factory coilovers up front. I’ll be glad to help all I can.

Just an update.... I didnt want rubbing to be an issue so I just ordered the 315/70/17s.... The price was right, I like the way they look, and the 60k mile warranty is very appealing since I drive this truck daily. Theyll be here next week.

Tires came in. I'll get them mounted on my Methods tomorrow.

I'm glad I went with the 315's. Side by side with the XLTs unmounted and the KO2s mounted and inflated, they are a hair larger than the KO2s. I'll be curious to see how they sit when mounted.

Tread is beefier than I thought it was going to be too.

I have about 3,000 miles on them so far. I really enjoy them. They grip better than the KO2's in rain and loose gravel. Haven't tried them in mud yet... No more road noise than the KO2's either. Tires are 37 12.50 17s.
