Custom Bed Cage

Well I am torn as I have done several custom projects but one stands alone in terms of complexity. This would be the custom bed rack made from 1.5" ABS with heavy duty box for Jack and cooler. The later of which was modified several times and was perfected in keeping the precious cargo - beer- safe. see the full write up, starting with Post 29 on my build thread.




With well over a 1000 miles in hard off road driving, the cage has performed magnificently. The wooden box was rebuilt and modified, and the custom Mac Tie Downs is what makes the whole thing work.

For me it is all about keeping my gear under cover and secure and as far as I know I am the only one who has ever achieved full cargo assortment including 2 37" tires under an F-1 cover.
