Considering a Raptor... Coming from an M3

All comments spot on...I've had 2 - 3's, a 6-Series and still have a 7-series battleship....awesome car....but since we've had the Raptor, the BMW just sits all by herself in the garage just begging for attention and to be driven. We've had the Raptor for a year and a half now, and we still just jump in it wherever we go. I would love an M3, but wouldn't trade the Raptor for one. Having said that, I did dance around a 335 Diesel a little while ago thinking about trading the 7 in on one...truly impressive vehicle with torque just oozing out everywhere (like 425 lb ft). It was a freekin rocket...but, in summary, in a head to head, the Raptor would beat out a 335 or M3 any day, and I REALLY like BMW's. It's that awesome a truck.

I was in the same boat.. I had 3 e46 M3's in the past.. last one was a HPF m3 stg2.. ppl told me I was crazy to sell my for a truck..

but I need some thing comfort and flashy.. but also usefull... Didnt want to have 2 cars.. So I was going to get a x6M.. but then when I saw a raptor..I was like I need to get the truck!

I orderd mine with out even looking at it close.. only on the forums and youtube..No test drive..

After 3 months of wait.. found out my raptor had the wrong options.. I ordered again.. total 6 months.. Totally Worth it!

Just do it! You wont regret! Mpg will hurt u .. but I still think I made the best choice!

Plus.. U dont have to worry about scraping your front bumper or scraping the middle of your exhaust..Lol U can drive and park anywhere witha raptor!

Do you know why most of these guys have own a M3? Because it is a fun car to drive. So ... if you can swing both, I say get the Raptor and keep the M3. Two different cars and both will make you smile when you drive them.

Btw .. I have owned a 1997 M3 and also a 2000 MCoup (I think one of the most beautiful BMWs ever). I had to get rid of the MCoup and I miss her dearly.

I strongly believe the Raptor and a sports car is the best combination. You got to have one of each to really cover all the needs and wants.

Ex M3 owner, ONLY A raptor Owner...

I had a very modded 02 E46 M3 a few years ago, I missed it quite a bit when the economy tanked and I had to sell it. I now have a '10 6.2 raptor and wouldn't trade it for 2 M3's. Destroys it in every way possible. You wont be sorry.

I can't Get silver. Got a silver ZR1 and a silver Lexus IS 350 F both of which were the only ones available of somewhat harder cars to get. Now my dealer that I buy most of my cars(or trucks) from have only one Raptor coming in...........................can you guess what color, yes it's silver.

Tuxedo Black Metallic, it will go well with the Silver. Very classy. The Ingot Silver is kind of blah.
