I wanted to share my excitement about a vehicle I’m considering and get some advice from you all.

I’ve always had a passion for trucks, and recently, I found a stunning 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor with a V6 EcoBoost engine. It’s got 61,973 miles on it and is listed for $55,000. I’ve heard so many amazing things about the Raptor—its off-road capabilities, powerful performance, and overall versatility for both work and play. I can already picture myself taking it on weekend adventures, whether it’s hitting the trails or towing my boat to the lake.

Before I take the plunge, though, I want to make sure I’m making a wise investment. I reached out to the seller for the VIN to check the vehicle's history, but I’m also wondering if there are any good alternatives to Carfax for running a report. I want to know if this truck has had any accidents or issues in its past.

solid milage for the year so sounds like a decent amount of highway use. There is also autocheck. That service deals with more titling and car value based metrics. Carfax is more maintenance and accident driven. A used car pre inspection is always highly recommended. If nothing but oil changes were done , yr looking at :

Front rear diffs
T case
Id personally do the trans filter and fluid (not flush)
Engine air filter
Cabin air filter
Tires?
How are the rear leafs?
Shocks rebuilt?
