I upgraded my home Wi-Fi to a DECO mesh network. And after I get it all up and running, which it really runs great, I had a difficult time connecting the truck’s SYNC 3.4 back to my home Wi-Fi. Turns out I need to turn off the feature in my DECO mesh set up “Fast Roaming which uses 802.11r”. Once turned off I was able to connect. I learned this / read this from DatWYMon on the Bronco forum. Relay from him is “So the only long term hassle free solution seems to be turning off 802.11r and leaving it off. Which in the grand scheme of things isn't really that big deal.” Worked for me. I had not updated my software for a few years (2020). Only thing need update was a new Map update 4U5T-14G422-CAN _1709610798000.TAR.GZ. Pulled it down today.
