I drive a similar commute to yours each day from MD to VA in the Raptor, besides riding my motorcycle, the truck is definitely my preferred 4 wheeled mode of transportation.
I've only used the adaptive cruise a few times on the truck and honestly I feel like I do a much better job of braking. With that said, for farm use and as a work truck the F250 sounds like a better option. The 5' bed is definitely limiting.
