You have to leave the truck running as the exhaust keeps it inflated.Does that have to have a blower constantly pumping in air for it to stay inflated? Isn't it hard to drive your truck once it's inside the bubble?

I live in Heath TX just east of DFW hails every year a few times . I’ve been luck to always be in the garage when it happensWhere are you at in Texas? We just moved to the DFW and heard about then storms. Didn’t think hail was that prevalent.
How do you drive with that thing . LolOver the years I have filed 4 hail claims on my vehicle. I have $100 comprehensive deductible, so even though I have had over $40K in damage I have only paid $400 bucks. Seems like nothing to me. The issue is the annoyance of getting hail repair, dealing with a piece of crap rental car, etc.
Well I decided to change insurance companies to get a better deal and I was dinged on every quote for too many comprehensive claims. Between my car, my wife's and my daughters, we have had like 10 claims.
So now I have this beast for my new Raptor. No ice will ever touch its ****** paint. $600, shipped from right up the road from me. 30 min for initial setup, 8 min to put on the truck each time, about 15-20 to fill it up. I got the largest size because the owner said although the Raptor is not a long bed, it is taller than most trucks.
That Corolla is my wife's rental car while her car is in the shop after my daughter wrecked it. That is exactly what I am driving for weeks every time the hail comes through.
I'm guessing there is a clear panel in the windshield area. Looks like it would be noisy as hell at highway speeds. How do you drive with that thing . Lol
It can hail anytime here in the DFW. Doesn’t matter if it’s in the middle of February or November lol. Hopefully you got a garage you can park your truck in!Where are you at in Texas? We just moved to the DFW and heard about then storms. Didn’t think hail was that prevalent.

Holy cow, you're right! If I put the truck in the garage, there's no way the hail can damage it! Why haven't I thought of that? I mean, the garage is right there! You sound like a nightmare customer for an insurance carrier. Multiple hail claims, your wife's car is currently wrecked. How about you use that garage as a hail mitigation measure instead of some stupid space bubble that you are certainly not going to install every time it storms?
How the hell would someone think comp claims are free? I mean, I pay a ton of money every month for insurance. Figures I should be able to use it.Claims are claims.. carriers do not like them no matter what they are for. Everyone thinks comp claims are a freebie, wrong.. Blows my mind when I see customers file $80 windshield claims, losing their claims free discount for an $80 repair is dumb. Even if the carrier does not pay out a dime, the claim counts against you.
If you have a bunch of claims and your current carrier hasn't non-renewed/cancelled you then its best to stay put...other carriers do not want habitual claim filers.
