I had my vinyl guy do an Oxford White background and Matte Black ring and lettering. I like it, still need to attack the bezel though. I have a smaller version of the same decal on my steering wheel too.

Any chance your vinly guy would be willing to make more and offer for sale?

How did you remove the oval and chrome piece from the tailgate?

You have to pop the Ford Oval off first, then there are two screws that hold the bezel in, and the camera is held by a plastic clip.

Take care when removing that oval though - I broke mine the first time I removed it and had to order a new one. There are plastic notched posts behind it that secure it to the bezel.

I dont do business with him anymore. We had a dispute over the ****** job he did when he wrapped my tailgate (I removed it) and the fact that despite me leaving the truck at his shop on 3 separate Saturdays he never managed to wrap my roof. He then tried to buck a bit when I wanted a refund but ultimately gave in. We parted ways on sour terms, so I need to find a new local vinyl guy.

I'd recommend googling "vinyl shop" + your zip code and talking to whomever pops up. In my experience, most of these guys are willing to do a Ford logo for a local customer, but can be hesitant to process a mail order due to the logo copyright.

Got it...thanks! I'll hook up with the local guy who put my hood graphic on.

Yeah CB17, that should work. Any vinyl guy with decent equipment can print out the emblem sticker in minutes. You might as well have him match one up for your steering wheel while he's at it.

Broke mine too. From what I've heard you can't get the logo off without snapping the tabs. Most ford dealers have them in stock for a few bucks. Plus practicing on the broken one is a great way to perfect your painting skills before you do the good one.:waytogo:
