So, if that bolster is the only change between gen2 & gen3 recaros, why is everyone claiming gen3 are much more comfortable?Here's the gen2 for reference.. notice the leather bolsters vs Alcantara on gen3
I'm not saying that's the only change.. I love my recaro seats, I think they're very comfortable and really take the interior to another level compared to the base interior.. I'd have to assume the same is true in the gen3So, if that bolster is the only change between gen2 & gen3 recaros, why is everyone claiming gen3 are much more comfortable?
I had Recaros in the Gen2 they were extremely firm, very much like my old RS. No bueno.. in the gen3 they don't even feel like they could be Recaro as they are soft and comfortable. They don't hug me either like they did in gen2 with the bolsters.So, if that bolster is the only change between gen2 & gen3 recaros, why is everyone claiming gen3 are much more comfortable?
No it's not okay but what are we supposed to do? Lawsuits are hard and expensive to organize and all subsequent losses will be incorporated into future price increases eventually making us to pay even more. And I'm not so sure anyone will lose customers as what is it to take there if all manufacturers doing essentially the same thing? you still need a truck to drive, you still buy whatever is available.For everyone saying that "others are removing standard options and increasing price" does that really make it okay? Just because something is standard practice in an industry doesn't make it best for the consumer. I understand people want their vehicles, and Ford has to do anything they can to keep invoicing vehicles, but at some point we need to be better informed of these "standard options" being dropped and not absorbed into the price increases. I have no dog in the fight, but deal with lots of manufacturers and do some OEM spec engineering/manufacturing. If I tried to deviate from spec as Ford/Stellantic etc are doing, I would lose a lot of customers, especially if not letting them know until delivery (as some see to have found out about seats at that time).
I don't have the answer other than let capitalism play out as so many on here always parrot. Don't buy the Raptor with the MY22 changes and vote with your wallet. Easier said than done but I sold my Power Wagon and my MY22 is almost delivered so I'm kind of "voting with my wallet" by taking it now and not paying 10-20-30% more for MY23/24 with current inflation ratesI don't have the answer other than let capitalism play out as so many on here always parrot.
