I had a k&n in mine too. I upgraded to the Cobb intake as well. Just don't expect any gains from an intake as the stock one performs really well. I'd save my money and upgrade the intercooler or put the money towards a Cobb Accessport and with a Goosetune.

That engine looked weird to me at first. (You ended up in the Gen II section) plenty of people here can still help you out.

Hi Jango -

If you do swap to any cold air intake style, I would like to purchase your stock setup for the Gen I 6.2.

Please PM me.

I also have a cold air style for the 6.2 that I could get you, but have no idea what brand. It looks nice and makes happy induction sounds. Can send pics.

If you are interested, let me know and let's take this to PM.

Not only did you put it in the Gen2 section, you actually put it in the 'Gen2 General Discussions' section. If you look at the list of sections on the main page, you'll see that there's a 'Ford Raptor Engine Discussion and Performance Mods' section underneath the Gen1 section that this would actually fit under better than the General Discussion section...see screenshot below where the section I'm talking about is highlighted in red:

If you ever intend to supercharge your raptor....wait to upgrade your cold air intake. I wasted 560 on an install for a kNN, when I upgraded to Roush SC. They put there own in.
