Code P0171

Looking at buying a 2017 raptor with a Cobb stage 2 tune, intercooler, and intake. Also has AFE equal length catless downpipes, stock muffler setup after those. My question is the truck is throwing code P0171 (Bank 1 fuel lean). Does anybody know if the catless downpipes could be causing this and if it’s a common code with tunes and pipes. Hate to buy it until I know if it’s a big deal or not. A lean condition scares me a bit but wondering if any of you with these mods has experienced the same and what the fix was.

I would start by contacting Cobb and asking if their Stage 2 tune is compatible with catless downpipes. I would suspect it’s not, since the feds have been cracking down on companies selling tunes that support the removal of any emissions equipment.
